Parkour Shoot

This is a shoot I did a while back, and I’m just getting around to posting now. This was a special shoot for me.  My subject, Joe Roseman, is an old friend of mine.  He was my best friend throughout my childhood, but at some point we started going our separate ways.  Nothing dramatic happened to cause our distancing.  Our lives simply started heading down different paths.

The day had a very relaxed feel.  We walked and talked, catching up on all the details of whats been going on in our lives.  In his parkour prowess, he consistently preformed new, creative ways to hurl himself through the air.  I simply captured his creativity.  At the end of the day, we went our separate ways.  I’m very grateful to Joe for agreeing to do this shoot. It was both a phenomenal experience for me as a developing photographer, and it’s just nice to see old friends.

Peace out!
